We spent an incredible holiday season at this gorgeous hotel on Lake Eibsee! The breathtaking views of the Alps and the serene lake made our family hike around the area unforgettable. Plus, the kids loved the outdoor play area and indoor kids club, which kept them entertained even in less than ideal weather.

In my wife’s opinion, the pool water temperature could be warmer for little ones.

The location near Eibsee lake is absolutely breathtaking, providing stunning views from my room. The staff was attentive and ensured my needs were met effectively during my stay. Additionally, the hotel offers excellent leisure facilities, including an indoor swimming pool and easy access to water activities like kayaking and paddleboarding.

A lakeside birthday surprise

Waking up to breathtaking lake views was a birthday dream come true! The warmth from the staff added a special touch to our stay, making it unforgettable.

However, the noise from nearby events in the evening interrupted our late-night relaxation, causing some frustration during our otherwise peaceful getaway.

This was just a smart choice for a break on our long journey in Grainau with high value for money. The staff were very helpful, which really stood out during our stay. Make sure to ask about the best food options in the restaurant.

The view from our room was marvelous, overlooking the majestic Zugspitze. I loved the fact that they offered complimentary kayaks and canoes. Felt kinda nice paddling around without any extra cost.

Had an amazing time with friends at this beautiful spot! We hiked around the lake and tried paddleboarding, which was so much fun. The nearby rustic alpine lodge is perfect for a quick meal recharge after all the biking. Make sure to explore the Garmisch-Classic ski area if you're into winter sports. it’s a must-visit!

The only downside was some confusion regarding the spa/sauna area. It would’ve been helpful to know about the co-ed showers beforehand, as it caught us off guard.

Meals were hit or miss. while breakfast was great, I found the dinner sides to be bland. It would help if they offered more variety and clearer options for dietary needs. The laundry service seemed overpriced too. Still, the overall experience was relaxing due to the beautiful surroundings and amenities provided.
